Big Pictures is a cinematic film house in The Hague, run by two brothers. We came up through theatre, dance, concert halls and music video and we make films the way we learned to read a stage: watching for the moment that means something, not the one that just fills a frame.

The cameras are cheap now and the drones are everywhere; anyone can make a pretty shot. The harder question is why — why this image, why this story, why anyone should care. So we don't do coverage. We make work that feels like something — for an audience, a donor, a funder, a room of people who've never met you and should.

We work with theatres, artists, cultural institutions and brave brands: documentaries, music videos, performance films, event work, and social content. Tech in service of story, always.
